QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, or handy-work experience
- Proficient skills in Google Products including Google Docs and Sheets.
- Possess good written, verbal, and record keeping skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate projects and tasks for small groups, including seasonal staff and volunteers.
- Familiarity and experience for the systems, mechanics, and structural components of commercial buildings, infrastructure and maintenance, including such as utilities HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems desired.
- Experience in developing and performing schedule preventive maintenance on facilities/equipment.
- Multi-task oriented, ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills consistent with camp rules and policies.
- Must agree to abide by Camp Tuolumne Trails rules and policies.
- Must pass LIVESCAN fingerprinting and background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Moving objects up to 90lbs.
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and ramps.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Operate machines and power tools.
- Ability to work in harsh weather (heat and cold).
PAY RATE AND BENEFITS
- Part-Time Employment (30 hours per week) at $17-19.00 per hour
- ServSafe, Wilderness First-Aid (WFA), and CPR certifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE
- Perform repairs to buildings. May include minor electrical repairs, plumbing, equipment repair, woodworking, etc.
- Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
- Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of all buildings on camp property.
- Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
- Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
- Cleaning and preparing project sites.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment. This may include chainsaws, pole saws, etc.
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
- Assisting outside contractors in their duties as needed.
- Reports directly to the Facilities Manager, but works with other team members including hourly maintenance staff, kitchen staff, program director, and board president to ensure the facility remains operational.
- In an emergency, assumes responsibility of any job deemed necessary by the Facilities Manager, Board President, or Program Director to ensure the safety of all campers and staff.
