Tuolumne Trails is a Special Place Our camp + your staff = great experience for special kids: Tuolumne Trails is an accommodations camp for groups of children with special medical needs. The camp provides the buildings, infrastructure, food service, management, and general camp activities. In addition, camping groups will bring their own dedicated staff of professionals, medical staff and specially tailored programs for their campers.
Tuolumne Trails offers a unique camp
experience. All the brand-new log cabin style buildings are
designed especially to accommodate children with special medical
needs. The camp is available for group bookings in week-long
sessions. Typical group size is
72
campers, plus counselors and sponsoring agency staff.
The camp is also available for school and community groups in the off-season.
New, purpose-built
facilities: Campers
are housed in new log cabins, each with a counselor, and a
fully accessible bathroom. There are also separate staff cabins.
The Great Hall is the center of camp
life. It houses the dining room, infirmary, game room, craft room,
and offices. Near the Great Hall are the large playing field,
fully accessible heated swimming pool, and hiking/wheeling trails.
Taking advantage of the breath-taking
views of Yosemite and the Tuolumne River Canyon, we also have a
star-gazing area and a site for evening campfires.
Peace of mind:
In addition to onsite medical staff
and local Groveland doctors, the camp is just minutes from Pine
Mountain Lake Airport, should emergency transport be required
