Facilities

Great Hall

  • The Great Hall features an expansive 4,000 square-foot Dining Hall on the First Level, which can accommodate up to 100 diners. Outside the dining hall presents an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and forest off the surrounding deck, where events are often held during summer months.
  • Movie/Game Room/Meeting Space is located in the Lower Level of the Great Hall features a 108-inch theater screen and projector with a seating capacity of 100. This area also features an Arts & Crafts Room stocked for every type of project you can imagine. The Lower Level is ideal for for board games, arts & crafts projects, and is great for exercise classes and dances!
  • The Lower Level of Great Hall includes sleeping quarters for medical staff, the Nurse’s Office, locked medication cabinets and a Patient Room with three single beds and an accessible restroom.
  • Library/Meeting Space is located in the Upper Level of Great Hall, this area offers a quiet place for individuals or small group meetings and activities. 

Cabins

  • Cabins are fully accessible to non-ambulatory and ambulatory campers.
  • Six Bunk Houses: Each cabin features seven bunk beds (sleeps up to 14), a toilet and sink. Bunk Houses are grouped in two groups of three; each group has its own Bath House.
  • Two large Bath Houses: Each consists of three showers, three sinks and two toilets.
  • Outdoor meeting space on the patio or covered porch at each Bunk House. Cabins open to an expansive green playing field and beautiful views.

Grounds

 

  • Spanning more than 80 beautiful acres with flourishing wildlife, we are living in the very heart of nature, on the edge of Stanislaus National Forest.
  • Camp’s new accessible Amphitheater—across from the Great Hall—seats up to 150 guests and hosts outdoor concerts and other events during summer months.
  • Interactive Science Room/Learning Center offers many resources and tools, including an impressive collection of Native American artifacts from our archaeological study.  
  • Enjoy breathtaking views and stargazing from our beautiful and unique Rim Fire Outlook.
  • Feed and groom our camp pets—mini donkey Jenny and miniature horse Dandy.
  • A large Fishing Pond is accessible and great for fishing, observing pond life and personal reflection.
  • There is an active seasonal planting garden.
