Facilities

We are proud of our great facilities here at Tuolumne Trails. The following will give you more details about our beautiful, fully-accessible facilities to assist you in creating your own program and/or utilizing our staff and program ideas.

Great Hall (Center of Camp)

  • Dining Room/Kitchen: Main level of Great Hall, Dining and Meeting Capacity of 120.
  • Movie/Game Room/Meeting Space: Lower level of Great Hall offers a 108-inch Theater screen with projector, seating capacity of 100, board games, arts & crafts projects. Also great for exercise classes and dances!
  • Arts & Crafts Room: space for art projects, stocked with supplies.
  • Library/Meeting Space: Upper level of Great Hall, a quiet place for individuals or small group meetings and activities.
  • Nurse Quarters/Infirmary: Lower level of Great Hall, offers sleeping quarters for medical staff, Nurse’s office, locked medication cabinets, and a patient room with three single beds and a restroom.


Cabins

  • Cabins are fully-accessible to non-ambulatory and ambulatory campers.
  • Six Bunk houses: Seven bunk beds in each to sleep 14, with a toilet and sink in each cabin. Bunk Houses are grouped in two groups of three; each group has its own bathhouse.
  • Two large bath houses: Each consists of three showers, three sinks, and two toilets.
  • Outdoor meeting space on a patio or covered porch at each bunk house.
  • Cabins open to expansive green playing field and beautiful views.


Extensive Trail System

  • Camp encompasses 80 scenic acres, largely surrounded by the Stanislaus National Forest.
  • We’re just 25 miles from the glories of Yosemite National Park.
  • Wildlife abounds, and flourishes here in their natural habitat.
  • Linked, Loop Trails provide extensive exploration and teaching opportunities.


Facilitated Challenge Course Elements

  • Our challenge course is comprised of several safe group-oriented components.
  • Accessible and easy to facilitate.
  • Great for team building and group bonding exercises.
  • Develops leadership skills.
  • Cultivates communication and listening skills


Nature

  • Spread over 80 beautiful acres with flourishing wildlife, we are living in the very heart of nature.
  • Interactive Science room/Learning Center with many resources and tools.
  • Stargazing from our beautiful Tuolumne Trails Lookout Point.
  • Feed and groom our camp pets – two donkeys and a miniature horse.
  • Fishing pond for fishing, observation of pond life, and reflection.
  • Active planting garden.


Great Playing Field

  • Beautiful open green field.
  • Large and small group games and activities
  • Perfect location for traditional field activities such as: Soccer, Races, Flag Football, Baseball/Softball, Kickball, Frisbee Golf, and Water Games.
  • We also have Basketball and Volleyball courts not far from the Great Field.


Table Game Junction

  • Located off the lower level of Great Hall.
  • Equipment for Ping Pong, Foosball, Billiards, Bocci Ball, Shuffle Board, and Bowling.


Dedication/Meditation Garden

  • A beautiful, quiet spot for reflection, meditation, remebrances or prayer.
  • Small quiet group activities.


Full Service Commercial Kitchen

The food service at Tuolumne Trails stands out in both quality and accommodations. Our Staff provides delicious and healthy meals while delivering outstanding customer service. Our Food Service Program specializes in meeting the diverse challenges of our clients.
